Getting Free Amazon Gift Cards With Swagbucks

I'm here to tell you about a little site that you may or may not have heard of. Swagbucks. Swagbucks is what's called a "Search and Win" site. You do what you do anyways with Google, every day of the week, and you have a chance to win what the site calls "Swagbucks". (Jump to the end for why you want to join. The middle section describes how to earn your rewards)


 Here's an example of a time where I won. Now please note, I sent a confirmation e-mail when I won and that is what I'm showing you. A message will show up when you've won some bucks.

But searching to win isn't the only way to earn. You can watch videos on SBTV, complete tasks and surveys (amount given will vary), shop at certain websites, complete offers and play games. For USA users, there is a mobile app to do all this on, so you don't even have to be at your computer.

Here's a breakdown of Swagbucks to earn:

Guaranteed:

You watch videos. For every 30 seconds of videos, you earn 10 percent towards your goal. Every 10 videos counted, you get 3 Swagbucks (maximum of 150 Swagbucks daily)

Play Games: 
Flash games that vary in genre from action to puzzle. For every 2 times played you get 2 Swagbucks (maximum of 10 Swagbucks daily)

Daily Poll: 
Vote on a poll that's posted daily for 1 Swagbuck a day

NOSO Path:
Follow a path of No Obligation Special Offers until you reach the end and enter a Captcha. You don't have to accept any of the offers presented to you. (2 Swagbucks daily)

Toolbar/Extension:
Earn 1 Swagbuck daily just for opening your browser with the Swagbucks Toolbar/Extension installed

Birthday:
As a present, Swagbucks will give you 50 Swagbucks just for it being your birthday. (50 Swagbucks annually, manipulating clock will NOT give you more.)


Not So Guaranteed 
(All of these vary in number of Swagbucks given)

Search and Win:
Use Swagbucks Search like you would Google or any other search engine and randomly be rewarded Swagbucks (See above)

Shop and Use Coupons:
There will be offers to shop at places like Amazon and earn 1 or more Swagbucks per dollar you've spent on the site

Tasks:
Follow instructions to complete a task and earn Swagbucks at the end

Daily Surveys:
Complete a survey and be rewarded with Swagbucks. Amount varies on survey.

Swagcodes:
Sometimes, a code will appear on Swagbucks Facebook page, Twitter, or blog (I'm not sure if anything else), if you enter it correctly withing a time limit, you will get Swagbucks this way as well. These codes can be answers to questions on Twitter Trivia Thursdays or events like New Years Day.

Here's one that's passed

Contests/Blogs/Twitter:
If you follow Swagbucks on Twitter or read their blog, you will be informed of contests that go on or special days. One  example is they'll ask you to use a word in a sentence for a chance to win (it's usually 25 Swagbucks) and the winner is random. Another example was recently they introduced a Mega Mobile Swagbucks Friday (sometimes it's Mega Swagbucks Friday. Doing any of the above on the mobile site/app could reward you with more Swagbucks than usual. Here's one I earned last time.

I posted this picture to their Twitter, tagged required words and won an additional 25 Swagbucks as part of a promotion they had going on.

On the Swagbucks Blog they also have a spot for an hourly winner. That winner is chosen randomly out of people currently logged into Swagbucks (so if you aren't logged in, you don't have to worry about missing your chance to win). The winner gets 1000 Swagbucks, but has to claim it by hitting a button. I personally have not won this yet. :(

Daily Goal:
On the 5th of every month, you are rewarded for meeting a daily goal of random Swagbucks. There are two goals. A low one and a high one. You only have to meet the lower goal, however, you get more for meeting the higher one. You are also rewarded for streaks on TOP of that.

As you can see, I was having a bad month (I had to be without my computer for a couple days so that put a big damper on things, seeing as I'm in Canada), but note the picture below, this could easily be you daily too.

Referrals:
Now, Swagbucks has introduced a bonus to referrals. For every person you get to sign up under you, you'll get 10% of what they earn on almost anything they get Swagbucks on!

Just for signing up you will get 30 Swagbucks


Now, what are these Swagbucks for? Well, they are like tickets at a carnival. You redeem them for prizes. Anything from Paypal cash to Amazon Gift Cards (both Canada and the US). A $5 Amazon gift card costs 450 Swagbucks. I'd say that's not too bad. Especially if you're achieving at least 100 a day.

But these are what I have redeemed since I've started.

As you can see from above, I prefer Amazon, but I am thinking of going a balance between Paypal and Amazon a month. You can choose whatever you want that they have available. You can even put some Swagbucks towards contests for prizes like an Xbox One or PS4.
